This was such a great spot to stay while visiting Montreal. The rooms are spacious, location is fantastic, and all the staff were very friendly. Parking was no problem. Bonus of free breakfast!

I had an amazing 6 days' stay at Hôtel Château de l'Argoat. I stayed at the standard budget room, and it's PERFECT for solo travelers. My room had a cute balcony, and I loved sitting there every day. The room also had nice thick curtains that totally darkened the room (incase you needed to sleep in). Very quiet room, but i also felt very safe in this neighborhood. The metro is 5 minutes walk away, and I could be in the downtown/old montreal within 15 minutes. Jean talon market is also close by the metro. The staff were extremely warm and friendly: i had to leave very early in the morning(around 3:40 am), and the person at the front desk was worried I won't get the free breakfast, and even arranged the breakfast food early so that i could grab some to go 🥺...truly, one of a kind wonderful experience which was a perfect blend of homestay and hotel. Also great bagels/cream cheese for breakfast! Great selection of tea (with hot water available 24/7). Needless to say, if I ever visit Montreal again, I know where I will be stayinb.

Yes the property is older, but that only adds to its charm. Motel 6 it is not. We stayed during two distinct time periods in late summer/early Fall. The pricing was reasonable and the room clean. Above all, the assistants were multilingual, helpful, conversational and just plain kind. Their simple breakfast offering was very adequate and the coffee (judged by my Italian husband) excellent. Immensely more charming than a hotel chain. I stayed in a one-bedroom room and loved it. Perfectly sized and priced for my needs as a solo traveler. Right next to Sherbrooke metro station, so traveling around was a breeze. Breakfast was lovely. The staff is warm and very helpful. Will stay here again!

Ottimo hotel che si presenta in modo sobrio, ma con camere ampie e un pacchetto di servizi degni della migliore accoglienza: cortesia e disponibilità alla reception, flessibilità con i bagagli nei giorni di arrivo e partenza, salette ben organizzate per la colazione. A un prezzo competitivo per la stagione estiva, la sistemazione permette di raggiungere in meno di cinque minuti a piedi i mezzi pubblici cittadini e la stazione delle autolinee per le tratte extraurbane. In circa mezz'ora, a seconda del passo, si raggiunge anche il centro toccando i quartieri più caratteristici della città.
